Environmental Stewardship in Your Backyard and Community Focus of Twelfth Annual Long Island Sound Summit

Stamford, CT, March 28, 2002 – The Long Island Sound Watershed Alliance (LISWA), along with the Long Island Sound Partnership (LIS Partnership), Save the Sound, Inc., and the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Long Island Sound Office are co-sponsoring the twelfth annual Citizens’ Summit aimed at encouraging people to make environmentally-sound behavior a part of their daily activities in the home and in their neighborhoods. The Summit will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2002 at the New York Botanical Garden, Bronx, NY.
