Trout Unlimited and NOAA are requesting proposals for marine, estuarine, and freshwater habitat restoration projects with a special emphasis on fish passageway projects. Trout Unlimited local chapters and councils, as well as organizations working in partnership with a Trout Unlimited local chapter and council, are eligible for funding in New England states, including Connecticut, and Alaska. Most grant awards will range between $25,000 and $50,000, with maximum award of $70,000. The request for proposal (RFP) closes January 12, 2011. Visit trout for more information.
