Nature Day at Rocky Neck State Park

Connecticut National Estuarine Research Reserve, CT NERR, is hosting a FREE day of nature-based family fun at the East Beach Picnic Shelter (follow the “Event” signs)!
Come learn about habitats and the critters of Rocky Neck State Park through expert-led walks and activities for children. We’ll also provide an opportunity for you to tell us what you love about the Park and ideas you have for improvements or changes.
Family-friendly bird walk – 9AM and 10AM
Family-friendly wetland walk – 10AM and 11AM
Family friendly activities – ongoing, 9AM – 12PM
Share your thoughts on park enhancement ideas – ongoing, 9AM – 12PM
