The US Fish and Wildlife Service released its 2012 survey of eelgrass in eastern Long Island Sound in November 2013. It located 240 eelgrass beds totaling 2,061 acres. The lisp-funded survey is the fourth conducted by USFWS since 2002. Click here to download the 2012 Eelgrass Survey.
