Winter Birding on the Harbor

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First Sundays of the month from winter into early spring at Mamaroneck Harbor are dedicated to birders. The Village’s Marine Education Center is hosting “First Sunday Bird Walks” through April. At the first walk in December a kingfisher with three black ducks in the background were among the birds spotted. The next walk is scheduled for Feb. 5 at 8:30 a.m. Visit the Center’s Facebook page for more information and photos.
