Photographer Nadia Valla has an eye for photographing waterbirds along the Sound Shore of Westchester County. Photographs she took this January and February of waterbirds in Mamaroneck Harbor and Otter Creek appear in the Facebook page of the Marine Education Center. The photo above shows a Bufflehead duck ready to take flight.
